Hailing from Longview, Texas, and a dominant force at Pine Tree High School, Dealyn Evans emerged as a four-star defensive tackle recruit before committing to Texas A&M in July 2022 . Standing 6’5” and weighing 285 lbs (with some listings at 270–284 lbs) , Dealyn possesses rare length—a 79-inch wingspan—that gives offensive linemen fits in one-on-ones.
In high school, he showcased disruptive ability, racking up tackles for loss as a junior and ranking among Texas’s top defensive linemen . Since enrolling with the Aggies in June 2024 , he’s earned praise for his interior strength, balance, and knack for collapsing pockets. Early assessments from scouts labeled him a “disruptive athletic interior force”
As a freshman, Dealyn is already seeing rotation snaps in the trenches—learning from seasoned vets and adjusting to SEC-level schemes—with eyes set on making plays behind the line of scrimmage. Off the field, he’s fully committed to Aggie culture and academic excellence, demonstrating maturity beyond his class as he represents the 12th Man with humility and grit.
